These articles were written as a project assignment by the students in Dr. Elizabeth Johnson's Fall 2007 sections of GSCI115: Earth Systems, Cycles, & Human Impact at James Madison University. Please respect the students and their work! Enjoy!
Using the Working Group II contribution to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report (2007) as a resource, research and write a news article that describes and evaluates new scientific research about the impact of climate change on humans and the natural environment. Your audience is your fellow JMU students and the general public.
1) Find and evaluate scientific resources available to you as a student and citizen;
2) Communicate information about climate science correctly and in an understandable, interesting way.
